Lilian is a seasoned banker with 21 years of Senior Management experience in the Banking Industry. Currently, she is an Acting MD for the TIB Development Bank since May 2022, ultimately responsible on the leadership and management of the bank, all day-to-day Management decisions and the implementation of the Bank's strategic plan. 

She is also a Substantive Director of Planning and Business Development since April 2022. Lilian joined TIB Development Bank in 2018 as Director of Managed Funds moving from Opportunity International, Tanzania, where she served in different capacities including that of Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operations Officer and Head of Internal Audit Function. 

Prior to Opportunity International, Tanzania, she worked with NMB Bank PLC in different capacities. Lilian holds Master's degree of Business Administration in Finance and Banking from Mzumbe University, Advanced Diploma in Business Administration from UNITECH Institute - Gaborone, Botswana, and a Certificate in Business Administration from Association of Business Executives (ABE) UK.

Lilian is a Board Member for SADC DFI Network and a Chairperson for Finance Committee for Tanzania Institute of Bankers.
